I began going as I started to pile on the pounds after giving up smoking, & replacing my addiction to nicotine with addiction to chocolate! I do feel better for going - I certainly feel more alert afterwards, and less miserable. With winter approaching I always make a point of exercising more, simply because I eat more starchy foods in winter. Â But it doesn't have to be gym - walking at a brisk pace is good too!
