Caravans on football field.

Recommended Posts

Just drove past football field at top end of St Aidans road (just up from the old captive queen pub) and there are caravans parked on it. Are they travellers who have set up camp or is it people connected with the Sheffield Fayre in Norfolk Park?

I saw these yesterday and watched them taking the registration plates off all their vehicles - something to hide? Lock up your valuables!

been to the Norfolk park fayre yesterday it was short of customers to say the least, even though a nice day, where has the buss factor gone on this now limp event? it was awfull

and why put it on 2 levels when it could fit on one easy, its such a pity that this huge event has sadly been let go to such a sad event,is it cuts? or council lack of intrest, but at least it was easy to park and the falconry was good

What do you think will happen if you go near them? Genuine question.

All I can say is good luck.

At a previous house (2 yrs ago) gypsies moved onto our local field, this led to major fly tipping (including human excrement) noise at all times of the day, and very anti-social behavior.

We spent weeks speaking to the council and the police who 'spoke' to them on many occasions and asked to them to move on, all of which had no impact. Luckily after about 6 weeks they moved on.

After they moved I requested the council installed some sort of barrier to stop road access to the field, to which they declined.

I imagine at some point it will become a gypsie haven again, but luckily I have now moved.

Unless you have a lot of support, do not approach them, they get very aggressive!
