blake   10 #145 Posted September 1, 2015 no matter how much of a mass-murderer they are, people like Corbyn will always side with people like Milosevic, because as far as Corbyn was concerned, being the president of the Socialist Republic of Serbia like Milosevic was, gives them this special freedom to shoot as many women and children in cold blood as they want. stressconsul   10 #147 Posted September 1, 2015 Corbyn is the only politician that I have heard for many years that actually talks like a human being. It is easy to understand what he is saying, easy to comprehend his policies and therefore will be easy to hold him to these policies. When politicians give you promises like "Forward, not back" or "All in this together" they cannot be held to account because they have not said anything - just strung a few words together. Cameron has broken promise after promise since May - on Child Credit, Child Benefit, Rail Electrification, Affordable Housing, Heathrow, Tax Free Childcare, Social Care Cap and Government Transparency, not to mention the U-turn on Green Energy - What does he think words are for? They are just lies in his mouth. Corbyn is clearly an honest man with a vision for Britain that shows up the Tory Austerity drive for what it is - right wing ideology. Vague_Boy   10 #148 Posted September 1, 2015 In 1940 when Churchill became PM he was about 66 he also became PM in 1951 age is just a number.  Unfortunately (for many reasons) modern politics is very different from what it was 75 years ago.   in 1951 would you vote for the bloke who had just lead the country to victory in the second world war  In 1945 the answer was... no.   Corbyn is the only politician that I have heard for many years that actually talks like a human being.  He talks like a lot of politicians do once they've actually left politics. They tend to become much more likable.
 Share this content via...
Ridgewalk   97 #149 Posted September 1, 2015 But Corbyn was fine with Milosovich's "soldiers" lining up thousands of women, children and old men in front of pits dug by JCB's and bravely slaughtering them with machine guns?    How would you answer your own question ? The Tories shorn of any LD's restraint are going hell for leather to destroy the Public Sector and I agree it is ideological. I was talking to a PCSO today who more than likely will lose her job along with most of her colleagues, actually 30 out of 46 posts to go. The Police Service is being hammered by the Tories. Osborne, Johnson, "Dave" and Teresa May wont need the police to come and sort out anti social behaviour in their neighbourhood because their money protects them. What did Norman Lamont or was it Geoffrey Howe when Chancellor of the Exchequer say "Unemployment is a price worth paying"  ---------- Post added 01-09-2015 at 13:42 ----------  no matter how much of a mass-murderer they are, people like Corbyn will always side with people like Milosevic, because as far as Corbyn was concerned, being the president of the Socialist Republic of Serbia like Milosevic was, gives them this special freedom to shoot as many women and children in cold blood as they want.   For the record Milosevic abandoned Socialism and became a right wing Nationalist, if all fails start waving the flag and play the patriot card.  "Patriotism the last refuge of the scoundrel"
 Share this content via...

What a ridiculous thing to say. Of course Corbyn doesn't 'side' with these people. tinfoilhat   11 #155 Posted September 2, 2015 It's rhetoric alright, now ask yourelf, do you really think that a decent man like Corbyn would think it 'fine' to slaughter innocent men, women and children?  Not "fine" I don't think satan blair found it "fine" when us and yanks were blowing up civilians in Iraq. Corbyn might think it a necessary evil - and as he's just as ideologically driven as the rest will side with the one closest to his own views. He's another one who hates the west I think.
