Large Indoor Venue Hire - Sheffield Area

Hi

 

Could anyone recommend a large indoor venue for a sporting event. We have previously used Hillsborough & Killamarsh but have out grown these. The Double hall at All Saints is a good size but unfortunately the have priority commitments to Basketball & Volleyball.

 

Preferably not an SIV venue as their pricing structure is ridiculous!

Don't know what type of event you're thinking but the function area of the Mercure is huge. If it wasn't something likely to damage the building they may help?

 

SIV is most likely sadly, as they have the sporting facilities, but as you say, it's the pricing.

Have you tried the PFI schools ie generally the ones with new buildings such as Meadowhead, King Ecgberts and the one that was Waltheof. These buildings aren't owned by the school - the company that owns the buildings gives a contract to another company to manage the buildings such as Kier or Mitie - outside of standard school hours they will hire classrooms, halls or sports facilities
