No more than we loved him, especially those of us who were privileged to meet him. What he contributed for Lillie and the champagne he sent when Joto came over from Canada were testament to a special person. A gentleman passed this way

Sad to hear this, we rarely crossed paths on the forum but when we did he seemed like a great fellah.

I live too far away now to attend his funeral but, he's certainly in my thoughts today especially for his family who I know he loved so much.

His posts on here were the most entertaining, thought provoking and compassionate and, always with humour.

A true gentleman passed this way.

It was a lovely service and many messages from his pals on the forum were read out. Such a sad day to say goodbye to such a gentleman, but the sunshine came out at the perfect time. I feel so much for Sue, Nicky, Chris and all of his loving family and hope that they can take some comfort in all the lovely thoughts and wishes sent their way. Love from Laurie XX

So pleased everything went well.

Wish I could have been there ...... any other day and I would have.

Couldn't make it today as it is my grandson's birthday.
