smithy266 Â Â 21 #6 Posted August 11, 2015 You might get a garage to collect your car, MOT it, then bring it back to you.
 Share this content via...
byeo   10 #7 Posted August 11, 2015 is it possible to get a mobile mot done in sheffield s12, if so can anyone recommend a company  Is it because you can't get to a garage ? I've used City Rd Garage a few times and they can come and pick up/drop off you're car, just mention it when you book it in. Monitor   11 #10 Posted August 11, 2015 You only need insurance to drive to or from an MOT. It must be pre-arranged, and you must use a direct route.  You can buy daily insurance.
 Share this content via...
Dardandec   32 #11 Posted August 11, 2015 I'm pretty sure if driving without an MOT it has to be to your nearest mot station too pre arranged, not one 15 miles away unless that is the nearest one insurance has to be valid yes definitely. Monitor   11 #12 Posted August 11, 2015 ^^ I've searched high & low to find the definitive answer on that one, there's plenty of people on forums giving opposing opinions.  I'm certainly not going to 2 of my nearest MOT stations because of bodged work they've done for me in the past.
