Poor migrants from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan

Recommended Posts

Not good seeing them fighting with Hungarian police. That is going to turn public opinion back against them.

Miguel Angel Galan, the director of the Cenafe football school in Getafe, near Madrid, said officials had decided to "help a fellow coach".

"They will get the most important things: housing, food, clothes and the job as a coach that we are going to give him," he said.

Spain has agreed to take in 17,000 refugees this year

David Cameron hasn't lost his bottle during this migrant/refugee crisis like he seemed to during the late stages of the Scottish referendum campaign. He has worked with the French over the Calais problems instead of publicly criticising them .

In fact, since Cameron won the general election he has risen several levels of statue and has turned into Britain's best Prime Minister since Margaret Thatcher.

Yes he's done well. We do have an advantage however over mainland Europe in that we are an island. We can protect our country from this mass influx of unknown peoples much more easier than other countries.

But at the same time he has balanced it out by taking a sensible quota directly from the region of the conflict, over a sensible timescale. That's on top of a very generous aid budget.

Britain does more than enough regularly in these situations.

Great story from the migrant who was tripped by the racist camerawoman in Hungary,he was a football coach who has travelled on to Madrid, and has now been given a job by a football academy........him and his family are settling in nicely there.

Doesn't Spain have any equal opportunity employment laws?

Ring-fencing jobs and housing to migrants is a sure-fire way of building resentment. Once again we are seeing emotional responses where the objective is to make people feel good about themselves in the short term. Zero consideration is given to whether the response is conducive to positive outcomes in the long term. It is the wrong focus and a bad idea.

Yes being an island is a huge advantage for Britain . Only the USA has donated more aid for the refugee crisis .

However , I don't think the World leaders are doing enough to stem the flow of genuine refugees fleeing Syria and Iraq . The world has stood back and allowed ISIS terorists to commt the most tragic atrocities since the Nazi's during the second World war . Boots on the ground is what is required to fight back against the terrorists from a coalition of national armies along with the thousands of fit young Syrian men who are fleeing their country.

The fact that the USA and UK were wrong to invade Iraq during the second Gulf war should not be an excuse for the World not to help those suffering now in Syria and Iraq .

Yeah,I know that, that's not what the point is about.

You appeared to be insinuated that someone was wrong to quote 800,000. As the German government has used this number itself, they were correct.

As far as I can tell the majority of the public has always been against this mass invasion of migrants. We know that the United Nations are all in favour of it though, as well as Sky and the BBC. The BBC surpassed themselves this morning when not only did they manage to find a young migrant girl to interview, they found a young migrant girl in a wheelchair!!!

They really are redoubling their efforts to sway public opinion; and it still isn't working.

Merkel has not said that she is taking in 800,000........that was a projected number of those arriving to be processed, arriving to be processed does not mean that you are going to be accepted,it means that you may be given a hearing on being accepted or not.

Whatever Merkel said or meant gave the impression to thousands and thousands of migrants from many countries that they would be welcome in Germany . #bigmistake

Are you interested in the rights of anyone that isnt a muslim?

And dont you think its a co-incedence that this has happened to the guy who tripped? Media manipulation at its finest.
