*_ash_* Â Â 88 #15 Posted August 8, 2015 Very admirable, but in reality, what would you do? Â In the [distant] past people used up the resources in one place then moved on. Later and perhaps in the last couple of hundred, people have moved to where the work is. Â In the most, people here have stopped moving to where the work is, because you can still just survive on benefits wherever you are. Â It's taken 50 years or so to get to the point where we are now balance wise - allowing hundreds of thousands of people in like TJC wants will undoubtedly alter the balance. Most likely, and like most places in the world, it will just dilute the wealth, until we're all poor. Socialism at it's best. The Joker   10 #18 Posted August 8, 2015 So how much money are we all willing to give to help these people? Let's agree a figure!  How much have the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq cost us?
 Share this content via...
Vague_Boy   10 #19 Posted August 8, 2015 Then go back when its not a war zone.  Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. What connects the current conflicts in those three countries.  Oh right, we started them all.
 Share this content via...

We must do more to help greece cope with these people fleeing war torn countries And stop the trafficking!  ---------- Post added 08-08-2015 at 07:27 ----------  Distribute out amongst eu or send aid at least. Camps are full.  ---------- Post added 08-08-2015 at 07:28 ----------  Thousands more dying at sea.  ---------- Post added 08-08-2015 at 07:30 ----------  Around 124,000 migrants - most fleeing war in Syria and Afghanistan - have arrived on Greece's coastline since the beginning of the year, a 750% increase compared to the same period last year. http://news.sky.com/story/1532133/shameful-conditions-for-migrants-in-greece  Its sick. We need to help these people. We are a rich country and have NO excuse for letting these people die in the sea or come to a country and have nothing not even a roof over their heads. Its shameful. Yet we are willing to spend billions on bombs bullets and guns. Great  ---------- Post added 08-08-2015 at 16:07 ----------  Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.
