Killian   10 #28 Posted March 12, 2004 can someone please explain what is meant by metal these days as I am slightly confused by mention of Linkin park, etc. in the real heavy metal days it was lead guitar influenced rock bands such as AC/DC, Maiden, UFO, Rainbow, Priest, Whitesnake, Scorpions, Saxon and the like. also, isn't Blink 182 a skateboard punk band?
