Hi fi laser for cd player

does anybody know if you can get hi fi spare parts,think it needs a new laser for reading c/ds it does nothing but skip the tracks,tried allsorts of cds on it,

its a philips make

Just found some prices for laser pickup,not worth repairing

The late Pete Hartley(RIP) would easily have done this, did my Denon, though he couldn't get an original laser, so the new one does jump with badly scratched cd's, but still great.

yes tried the lens cleaner made no difference,i will just keep looking on e/bay
