James Dixon and Sons: pewter platter info needed

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have an old looking, what I think is a pewter platter and I need to know if anyone knows of this item. It has 'James dixons and sons' stamp on the back and also the Sheffield and hallmark logo of the trumpet and flag stamped too. Below these it has the characters; D 10/10

I don't know if I'm right but usually that is the number of how many of the same items have been made. On the bottom of the platter it also has the number 20

Please can someone tell me anything about this item as I can not find any information in the Internet what so ever. This might because it's rare or fake I need to know. Thank you
