Channel tunnel problems! caused by the illegal migrants.

Recommended Posts

Because you perceive they are of no use, doesnt mean we cant show compassion and civility.

Thats what used to make great britain, great.

.

How many people should we show "compassion and civility" to, in other words how many do you want to let in? give me a figure, the entire populations of Syria and Libya? or just a certain amount, a select few? you need to be concise, nice fluffy words just won't doodle do any more I'm afraid.

When you get down to the nitty gritty the wheels come off your do-gooding!

It is sad fact that this week’s bout of “migrant madness” was triggered by a misleading Eurotunnel claim that 2,000 migrants had attempted to enter Britain on Monday night, without making it clear they meant many repeated attempts by the same group of a few hundred migrants. But the original claim was enough to leave the clear impression that Britain was now under nightly siege and the government was powerless to do anything about it.

Its not do-gooding. Just intelligent common sense. See above.

My sympathy is with migrants desperate for a better life.

These people are the ones who chose to invest a lot of money into criminal venture which they knew full well that they would not be able to do legally so I do not have any sympathy whatsoever for them.

They do have a choice of alternative countries to start a new life but they choose to fund criminal gangs as nobody always gets exactly what they would like so you have to turn to alternatives

Families who have worked hard all year and finally their summer break has come and they've had it ruined by a "swarm" of economic parasites. My sympathy is with the families, and also the businesses whose livelihoods are at risk because of this mess. Send the army in and get it sorted.

I also have sympathy for families who's holidays are disrupted, however I feel grateful that I've got an income and a roof over my head.

Many of the people trying to get into Britain risk life and limb doing so - just imagine what sort of life they are escaping from if they are prepared to risk life and limb by hanging on to the underside of a lorry for miles on end.

I'm not saying that everyone should have a free entry into the UK, but calling people a 'swarm of economic parasites' is nasty and vindictive. Many 'economic parasites' do back breaking work in fields up and down the UK picking vegetables for crap wages - so that you and I can enjoy those vegetables for a cheap price.

Human life is more important than some kids holiday

More important than your holidays too, do you give them up for anyone ?

Just your typical shallow socialist sound bites I reckon !

In terms of human life some of these migrants don't put too much value on it themselves.

They're economic migrants not people seeking refuge from a pursuant serial killer. They don't die if we don't let them in.

You a student by any chance? When you reach a point in your life when you have to pay your way, and the tax man, then your attitude will change. It is easy to be right-on when you aren't paying for it.

No, i just read something better than the beano and funny pages.

Instead of solving the problem just prescribe panic and racism. That works.

Don't panic Captain Mannering, David Cameron has called a meeting, so it's sorted.

Mind you, we will need to read his statement very carefully, like all politicians the operative words are usually could, should, can or might.

Common sense cuts through the blatant bigotry. Good to see an intelligent life form.

Rubbish, what is your solution to the problem ?

Oh and playing the 'racism' card is utter nonsense.

If France will not agree to allow the British Army to be deployed in Calais then the British Government should close the tunnel . That is the solution to the problem .

Could none of the several safe democracies they bypassed on the way to Calais not have offered that? If they're that desperate they'd stop travelling as soon as they reached safety. They're not, they're greedy.
