Another Grooming Scandal - Aylesbury

Recommended Posts

"The unit says: “All ethnicities were represented in the sample. However, a disproportionate number of offenders were reported as Asian.”

Of 52 groups where ethnicity data was provided, 26 (50 per cent) comprised all Asian offenders, 11 (21 per cent) were all white, 9 (17 per cent) groups had offenders from multiple ethnicities, 4 (8 per cent) were all black offenders and there were 2 (4 per cent) exclusively Arab groups.

Of the 306 offenders whose ethnicity was noted, 75 per cent were categorised as Asian, 17 per cent white, and the remaining 8 per cent black (5 per cent) or Arab (3 per cent).

By contrast, the seven “Type 2 groups” – paedophile rings rather than grooming gangs – “were reported as exclusively of white ethnicity”.

Ceop identified 144 victims of the Type 1 groups. Again, the data was incomplete. Gender was mentioned in 118 cases. All were female. Some 97 per cent of victims were white."

so what percentage of the UK population is either asian or arab.

Lets be honest now and admit that we aren't really surprised by this figure, are we?

Although to be balanced, Tim Loughton, the former Children's Minister pointed out:

We caution against focusing just on one particular model of child sexual exploitation (Street Grooming). We have heard evidence that models vary within and between different types of child sexual exploitation. For example, the majority of child sexual exploitation conducted online is by White perpetrators.

I've heard that too........from somewhere.

But I've also heard that the abuse that gets distributed on-line is usually done in Asia and sold over here and that's pervy white men buying it.

Whatever the truth is though it is disgusting and the police need to be doing more rather than being too scared as they'll be called 'racist' - it's ridiculous.

I'm not aware of any threads on the Aylesbury scandal

All you've done is just started another thread that is similar to all the other threads you will have been given a choice to participate in. You could have added 'Aylesbury' to anyone of them..after all that's what you've done with this one.

Reports now suggesting that the majority of CSE perpetrators/suspects in Rotherham were white...

That report was discussed here: http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1416395

These girls were vulnerable and had a difficult upbringing which allowed for these men to take advantage- which may have more underlying reasons of why such men do this.
This is totally untrue, most of these girls had parents who tried to get help from the police and from social services for years and were blanked. The girls became vulnerable and 'difficult' because of the grooming, they weren't groomed because of it.

ETA: Sorry got a bit carried away and reverted to the Rotherham CSE, rather than the Aylesbury one which is the topic here. Yes, in Aylesbury it seems Child A was extremely vulnerable, which makes the abuse of her even worse.

How do you know they were not difficult and vulnerable before being taken into care?

You don't know so don't post like you know for a fact it was the grooming that made them vulnerable and difficult.

One of the six men was not of Moslem origin.

The other 5 are.

In the interest of balance I am posting this here.
