What a dreadful sentence. Is english your first language?

Would it matter if it wasn't?

its nothing to do with religion or culture, its to do with a network of perverts

This is plainly not true. The vast majority of offenders are not paedophiles (freaks on nature), just men with no respect for females... especially non-Muslim females. They at bound by a depravity that is a product of upbringing.

Of course, Muslims don't have exclusivity when it comes to depravity and abuse of women but they do have a grossly disproportionate problem that has not been challenged because of politically correct blindness of the sort you display. This has allowed culturally inspired abuse to go unchallenged and you shame yourself by still refusing to see the truth.

Everyone of those convicted needs to serve very very long sentences and if they are not originally born here they need sending back to the country they came from regardless of if they have family, wives or children here.

Hard labour should be the order of the day when incarcerated.

The 'network' is their culture. They were raised with the same attitudes and beliefs about woman (especially Western women/girls) and as such it is possible for 60 different men to be approached by the initial abuser and for all to kindly accept an offer to share instead of reporting the abuse.

The disgraceful culture within the public sector is also exposed by these scandals. A culture of politically correct paralysis where fear of the racism label is overarching. A culture where people have been conditioned to believe, at least to act, as if cultural diversity is all good. We have failed to address the fact that some cultures have values not aligned with our own and failure to challenge that has facilitated abuse. People should think on that before shouting 'racist' every time someone dares challenge a trait/belief/ practice from a foreign culture.

Islamic culture nurtures too many men to thinking women, especially non-Muslim women, are lesser beings. It is just one of several cultural problems that need addressing urgently if those practicing it are to continue to be tolerated by wider society.

An excellent post from someone who isn't afraid to say it as it is.

It makes perfect sense.

Quite telling that it seems important to you to insult me before you even had time to read the article.

Makes perfect sense to me.

If nothing to do with culture can you tell us a common denominator with the majority of these cases.

Just heard the council apologizing on the radio, but shouldnt the police be apologizing? Was the problem that this crime was reported to the wrong organization?

Rape should be reported to the police, not the council.

But surely misconduct in public office should apply.

This is disgusting. Grown men using children for sex? Hideous!

Another disgusting thing is its been predictably being used to have a bash at muslims.

The paedos are worse but the racists come a close second in the league table of disgusting traits.

Well can you tell us what the common denominator is between the latest bunch of abusers and those in Rotherham is?

What is going on in this country when town after town, up and down the country, is uncovering these grooming scandals with underage girls being abused by gangs of grown men? Clearly something is not quite right. I can't believe how many similar scandals have now emerged, similar to the local Rotherham one:

Why, were they also operating as a gang of organised groomers made up of tens of abusers and abusing thousands (probably 10s of thousands) of children? If not, stop trying to deflect it. They're both bad but they're separate problems.

Jimmy Savile, that Aussie, all the DJs. Asian grooming is one part of it, but the problem is much bigger.
