Chinook helicopter over Handsworth 23/07/15

Anyone manage to get a pic of the Chinook flying over Handsworth about 9.20pm?

 

Only caught it as it was going away from me so didn't have time to get the camera out.

Was just logging on to ask similar. Heard what sounded like a low flying copper chopper but went for a nosey and saw that flying over our estate. Was gone by the time I'd grabbed my phone to take a pic. Not seen one round here before.

At the moment I'm in inkersall Chesterfield and it flew over here about 10 mins ago

A huge plane called a Boeing CH - 47 has just flew over Hackenthorpe heading north-west, and then continued to do a huge U turn flying back to the South-East.

Did anyone else see this?

The Chinook helicopter really is an awesome machine isn't it. We saw one perform at an airshow and it is obvious why the armed forces love it despite it's alleged safety issues.
