cazowl   10 #14 Posted July 27, 2015 Not unsurprisingly, I've just come across this problem with the RSPCA. My mum's friend has a cat that is clearly a stray living outside her back door and is heavily pregnant. The RSPCA did not seem in the slightest bothered as it was not injured.  She has been feeding it, although it's extremely timid, but it's about to have kittens and I worry about their survival living outdoors. I think the cats protection told her they would come and get the kittens but not the mother - sad really when animals are in need they don't always get the help they deserve
 Share this content via...
pitnjules   10 #15 Posted July 27, 2015 RSPCA are nit the best animal rescue. Rain rescue are much better. Cats protection are fussy too. Poor babies having to live this way x
 Share this content via...
berlingo   10 #16 Posted July 27, 2015 Cats protection would get the kits and probably neuter the mum FOC, better than her having another litter and so on. If she's an adult cat and very timid she may not thank anyone for trying to home her. RSPCA are rubbish, only interested if there's a camera crew following! I have 3 " semi feral" cats that CPL paid to be neutered years ago, they have lived happily in my garden for about 10 years. 2 meals a day, shelter and a nice hot water bottle in the winter, most cats idea of bliss.. no rules !!! scousemouse   10 #17 Posted July 28, 2015 RSPCA? I have heard many bad reports about them. I know they do some good, it is very upsetting when you read reports like this.
 Share this content via...
