AlexAtkin   10 #14 Posted July 19, 2015 (edited) I would recommend people always keep their e-mail separate from their ISP.  If nothing else, do you really want to have to tell everyone your new e-mail address if you change ISPs?  Not all ISPs even have their own e-mail service. PeteMorris   10 #15 Posted July 20, 2015 I would recommend people always keep their e-mail separate from their ISP. If nothing else, do you really want to have to tell everyone your new e-mail address if you change ISPs?  Not all ISPs even have their own e-mail service.  That's what I've always thought...I'm a virgin customer, but wouldn't use their email for any money...If I change supplier for whatever reason, then any emails I've saved would be lost, or at least a pain to migrate to another system. So I use hotmail, and have done for donkeys years. Yes it occasionally has the odd 'hissy-fit' but I've never had to change email addresses. Tommo68 Â Â 10 #16 Posted July 20, 2015 I use virgin mail for somethings but use an independent mail program. I have never been asked to confirm or deny anything on my own computer not even my log in name or password for years. Â Of course I would not be stupid enough to access anything I'm signed into on a computer other than my own. . .
 Share this content via...
