Onthetyne   10 #13 Posted July 16, 2015 Glad I'm not the only one that thought that. Worse doughnuts I've had.  They are awful.  Birds do lovely doughnuts, home made ones are even nicer
 Share this content via...
GLASGOWOODS   10 #14 Posted July 16, 2015 I had a Krispy Kreme doughnut once, just to see what the fuss was all about. Horrible, plastic tasting rubbish.  My daughter dragged me into one at Meadowhall. Nothing special, sickly, overpriced and full of fat people gorging on several doughnuts at a sitting.
 Share this content via...

discodown   11 #16 Posted July 16, 2015 I wonder why all these companies seem to overlook Sheffield in favour of other cities such as Leeds and Manchester?  Or prefer 5 for a pound from TescoThat'll be why
 Share this content via...
alternageek   10 #17 Posted July 16, 2015 I could swear theres a Krispy Kreme in Meadowhall.  There is, but the donuts are made in leeds, the nearest hotlight store. KK are only amazing when fresh out of the fryer and just glazed. So theyre not as fresh as they could be..  I'm surprised that the new Baskin Robbins weve gotten didnt include a DD in it, as they usually have shared stores.   That being said, Dunkin Donuts are no longer as good as they used to be. , but now theyre sent to the stores as frozen dough and then baked. Found them to be more greasier and not as nice.  We are getting a Five Guys and we do have TWO taco bells, one that serves beer as well. Ned-Ryerson   10 #20 Posted July 16, 2015 They are apparently due to open their store in August at the Merrion centre in Leeds. The store itself will be a duel Dunkin Donut/Baskin Robin store. I just want to add that I will be the first Sheffielder through the door when it opens, oh yes I will!
 Share this content via...
geared   317 #21 Posted July 16, 2015 If we're going to be getting some more American food franchise then I'd much rather a shake shack than a dunkin donuts to be honest.
 Share this content via...
byeo   10 #22 Posted July 16, 2015 My daughter dragged me into one at Meadowhall. Nothing special, sickly, overpriced and full of fat people gorging on several doughnuts at a sitting.  And thin, but that makes it sound less dramatic.  If we're going to be getting some more American food franchise then I'd much rather a shake shack than a dunkin donuts to be honest.  Shake Shack isn't that great, been to the one in Covent Garden and Central Park, New York. I'd prefer Five Guys or In and Out come to Sheffield.
 Share this content via...
