Munchys Chapel Walk

Recommended Posts

Anyone remember the fruit and veg shop?

I was a kid and walked through there with my Mom who always pointed out the 'gem' spelling errors written bold in white wash across the windows: Tom ate toes, onyons, grean beens, lettus .......... a forerunner of texting!

I actually miss the place!

Chapel walk has gone down the nick.

Remember limeys? Went down hill when that shut.

Someone tried an independent thing down there - bird house or something?

That bombed.

Could be good down there if someone takes a chance again.

Bird House is still there. It just moved to a better unit the other side of the alley.

The kitchenware shop and Feast are also worth visiting down there
