Both Yorkshire teams put in a result. One stuffed Warwickshire, the other put the Aussies in their place

 

No reason why the other Yorkies don't beat the Aussies,if Sidebottom was in the side it would be a cert.

Great to see positive cricket from england,scoring at a fast rate,Think id have had a bowl on day one,perfect conditions for bowlers who can swing it

It will be a BIG day tomorrow.

Id expect the aussies to bowl far better at lords its a track with bounce and pace.

The team seems full of confidence except Balance,he seems to be struggling,Lythe will come good,and Roots playing out of his skin,though taking chances,I'd rather see him get 60 in a hour than creep to 30 in 4 hours.

Another good third day for England , bowlers Anderson, Broad and Wood did well doing the business early with 5 wkts for 44 runs to close the Aussie innings.

With Bell and Root both 60 runs and Ben Stokes 42 ably assisted by Mark Wood 32

setting the Aussies a formidable target of 412 .

Looking forward to England bowling the Aussies out and going one up in the series.

So far its been a tremendous performance by the whole England team.

 

The Tests v New Zealand plus one dayers were a success setting England up against

the tough Aussies.

The lads are doing ok so far and it bodes well for an exciting series for all.

Was hoping to see Lyth,Ballance and Root bat but not in the 2nd INNINGS. But what bowling by the Austarlian pace attack Lyth Ballance and maybe Bell are under pressure to perform well when they bat again.

The Aussies normally play well at lords,that extra bounce suits their bowlers,but they certainly bowled a far more menacing length than we have,and AT THE STUMPS,that usually helps

We have to bat for 2 days,and our batsmen arent in the double hundred nick that the Aussie boys are,Ballance looked very edgy at the crease 1st innings.
