Trev38 Â Â 10 #98 Posted July 1, 2015 I'm at Ringinglow now watching this in the north west it's fantastic. There's huge flashes every second, it's ridiculous. Â I've been watching it too, it looks amazing
 Share this content via...

Leah-Lacie   10 #100 Posted July 1, 2015 I'm in the City Centre and there is no thunder.  No thunder anywhere in Sheffield, or rain, just the lightening.
 Share this content via...
RickyM Â Â 10 #101 Posted July 1, 2015 No thunder anywhere in Sheffield, or rain, just the lightening. Â Thanks for clearing that up. Â There isn't any lightening here too.
 Share this content via...

TheTwirler   10 #103 Posted July 1, 2015 If anything it has died down now. No real way of knowing if it will strike back up and where, the conditions are ripe for it all over the north of England.  My uncle lives in Bury and he says he's never seen hailstones like it, they have punctured through his conservatory roof and his garden is flooded.  I think given the choice I'd cope with the humid weather for the night over property damage and the dog being scared witless. RickyM Â Â 10 #104 Posted July 1, 2015 Well, it seems that the lightening has decided it doesn't want to appear over skies above Sheffield City Centre because I've not seen any!
 Share this content via...
Minimo   59 #105 Posted July 1, 2015 I'm watching it, looking to the west. It's almost continuous.
 Share this content via...

TheTwirler   10 #107 Posted July 1, 2015 To add insult to injury, the main bulk of that storm is now about to hit Ripon which is almost directly in line North of Sheffield.  It moved East, just too late for us.
 Share this content via...
Bruno   10 #108 Posted July 1, 2015 not sure what "hyperbolic trolling2 is ??? I know the forum definition of trolling - anyone who doesn't agree 100% with a posting, but Hyperbolic?  Anyway, to please you, I'll do a bit of panicking... might get to 30 degrees and I may need a hat and sunglasses ... oo-er ... pass me a sedative.  Out of curiosity, are you a tabloid journalist?  I promise not to take the **** if I get called out to a loved one of yours during this heatwave.  Keep up the good work Twirler
 Share this content via...
