Possibility of seeing Northern Lights tonight?

Just got the last bit if the local news today and says there might be the possibility of seeing the Northern Lights tonight. Anyone help with times/ best viewing etc please?

asked what time I should be looking. Then edited because I realised the sky is that cloudy I wouldnt be able to see anything anyway.

Turns out yesterday was more likely as i got an amber warning, you can sign up for them by googling aurorawatch uk

 

So far, nothing today.

 

And I missed yesterday as it was apparently just before 3am! Yawn!

 

There's some awesome photo's looking up over Stanage Edge taken previously, if you see someone up on them hills with a tripod it might be me :)

Is difficult to see at this time of year if activity is low as it's morning twilight already.

Sunday night - Monday am. March 6th-7th 2016

 

Northern lights might be visible as far south as Midlands tonight.

 

Anybody seen anything yet?

Was at keilder observatory other week they gave a talk on the northern lights and reckon the space weather site is best for notifications
