Thats not what you said. You said he said the EU rules were too restrictive. He didn't. Hes always been for a flexible global skills based immigration policy with no special access for roma gypsy thieves or bulgarian sex offenders just because the EU demand it. Which I fully back as a sensible policy that puts our British interests first and foremost.

If we have a need for someone we get the best person regardless of where they are from. If we don't need someone then door shut. Immigration that we control in our interests not imposed on us by Juncker.

The point is, currently mass immigration is seen by those in power as being in the UK's interests. So I can't see anything changing post-Brexit. The immigration issue for the referendum is a red herring, and if people are voting one way in the referendum because of immigration then as I said, I think that they're in for a little surprise post-Brexit.

Anywhere we like. And with no recourse to benefits.

Will those who are concerned that the current level of EU immigration puts an unacceptable strain on housing stocks be happy about the accommodation needs of the non-EU immigrants that will replace them?

Who says they will be non EU?

If we need people they can come from anywhere including Europe. But with no recourse to public funds so the businesses hiring them will need to ensure they can pay their way. Bunkhouse accomodation can be knocked up cheaply for buttons. Anyone who has spent time in transit accomodation knows what we consider acceptable for service personnel outside of ops so we needn't expect luxury for our guest workers.

Businesses don't vet workers for being able to pay their way,all they are interested in is getting the job done and making their profit. This is why the infrastructure is strained, business in the UK are not interested in that, why would they be interested after brexit?......why would migrants from Europe be required when there is a pool of unemployed already in the UK ready to take up the slack?.........the reasons for brexit would be made redundant by taking any more migrants for cheap labour after brexit............this is the whole point of the referendum.

We are told employment has never been higher for years and that millions of jobs are being created. We have a low unemployment rate and very low rates of long term unemployment.

There is not a ready made army of UK workers to fill all the positions.

The only way this will work if there is an economic shock that destroys jobs and companies, forcing migrants to leave, followed by a gradual filling of vacancies that are created as the economy slowly recovers. Kind of a creative destruction that remodels the distribution of the workforce.

I dont think a lot of the leave voters understand this.

The point is on a controlled immigration strategy the business that imports a worker is responsible for them. Not us. They pay for their needs while here not us in endless benefits.

This Farage letter is pretty funny, isn't it?

The day after Boris Johnson was dug up in a video archive as saying he would definitely vote to stay in the single market (2013).

All the closets are being searched, the thing is though - the closets aren't exactly difficult to search, that is what happens when disingenuous politicians decide to go the populist route.

Which is already what happens, who do you think pays the majority of those workers' income?

He also supports relaxing the immigration rules. So the point I'm making is that if you're voting Brexit to limit immigration you're going to be in for a shock.

Ive said before on here. CONTROLLED immigration ,where we let in people with the required qualifications and skills for the job vacancies we have.

We should NOT be allowing unskilled, manual workers into Blighty . we have more than enough of these of our own that are out of work to cover those jobs.

No one is against attracting doctors, surgeons , lawyers , scientists to come to this country.

We just done want , or need the army of unskilled labourers that have pitched up here .
