Aqua   10 #1 Posted June 9, 2015 I've been on the council waiting list for just over 5 years and don't have a chance of being first in line for a house - I've bid on several and I'm usually about 30th in line! I'd be more than happy with a flat and they often have no other bidders so I'd be first in line, however I have a cat. Am I right in thinking they don't allow ANY pets in flats, or is it just dogs? Plain Talker   11 #2 Posted June 9, 2015 Mod hat off  you can generally have caged pets (birds, hamsters etc,) but not cats or dogs.
 Share this content via...
leviathan13 Â Â 348 #3 Posted June 10, 2015 It's all around 'outdoor' pets and communal entrances. For example, a ground floor flat may state no pets allowed, but if the property can be accessed via another door other than the communal entrance then they may allow you to keep cats or dogs. Â Ask, is my advice.
 Share this content via...
Aqua   10 #4 Posted June 21, 2015 I'm looking out for a ground floor one, preferably a maisonette with it's own entrance, so when one comes up, I'll ask about the cat issue. Thanks both.
 Share this content via...
