Still, as people in here say like the council do - no use, demolish - and I suppose they're right, even though I disagree with them! No one is bothered about buildings.

 

It'll be a new block of ugly flats no doubt.

Noticed a bit of a crowd watching a bloke take that old lamp that hangs over the door earlier, he had a hi vis top on so not sure if there are workmen in the building.

Parts are to be changed, It seems the chimney stacks are to go.

 

Seems we will soon have another takeaway up there

I'm not sure why you think this is sad. It's a scruffy old building of no architectural merit on a prime site.

Yes I have heard they have finally got approval for a restaurant and drive in takeway with a Costa alongside. No doubt they will find a reason to knock it down even though they are supposed simply to change it to some extent.

No only selected ones are halal, the one near arena down Attercliffe and the one on queens road are the only halal ones in Sheffield.

I live near the Pheasant so would be ideal for me if it was....
