Tomorrow is PIE NIGHT and this week we have Chicken Jalfrezi or Meat and Potato. Call before 12pm tomorrow and you can even have your name baked on the pie. Not that is Personalised Pie!! Only available from The Abbey Pub, Woodseats.

But seriously, in this day and age in a city as large as Sheffield, the only vegetarian option in the pub has to be pre booked?

Most pies we sell are pre booked as they have your name baked on them and you can have near enough any filling you want. But we will try this week and put a vegetarian option on and see how it sells. We will let you know how it goes

Its good to hear everyone's thoughts. If we don't know we cant change things. I have already have two non veggies saying that sound nice option so we will start and build it up with a regular veggie option. Please feel free to give us some options/recipes as i'm not a veggie myself

Just to let you know the vegetarian Pie option went down a treat last week, so we will now be having a Veggie Pie option each week. Not sure what it is for this Thursday but we will keep everyone posted. Just let you know we have Meat and Potato, Corned Beef and onion and for our veggie friends , Mediterranean Veg in a rich tomato sauce. Its too late for your name baked onto the pies but there's always next week. Enjoy the PIE!!!!
