I'd get the bus back, as it's mainly uphill.

It can be done. Best not to do it alone, or after dark though.

 

It's as safe as any other neighbourhood, although there are some areas in Sheffield that you should definitely not walk through alone in the evening.

I wouldnt recommend it. You will prob get mugged or worse.

It clearly isn't. I dare say the figures for street crime in Manor/Wybourn will be higher than Ranmoor for example.

How far do like to walk? Some people take the car to go round the corner to the nearest shop. I once walked from the high rise flats at the top of Stannington to Grenoside. But I doubt most people would want to walk that.
