EccleRd22   10 #1 Posted May 16, 2015 A massive '80s reunion party is lined up to launch the new 'Dirty Stop Out's Guide to 1980s Sheffield' book.  'Eighties! The Biggest Reunion... Ever!' is set to take place in the nightclub of the Genting Club Sheffield nightclub on Saturday, July 11th.  The event is set to celebrate the heady days of Sheffield venues of the era like the Roxy, The Limit, Josephines, Cairo Jax and many more.  It will be playing the greatest tunes of the decade, spanning ABC to Wham! with a special emphasis on the city's own hitmakers of the decade like the Human League, ABC and Heaven 17!  The new edition of the best-selling book will contain scores of personal photos of clubbers from the key venues.  Neil Anderson said: "My call out for photos led to fantastic response - the best I've ever had! I'm looking forward to a great launch party and great celebration of an amazing era."  'Eighties! The Biggest Reunion... Ever!' is raising money for St Lukes Hospice and the Broomgrove Trust and is in support Mattfest.  The event runs from 9.30pm until 2am.  Tickets are just £10 each and this is likely to be a sell-out!  Tickets from http://www.acmretro.com/eighties-the-biggest-reunion-ever/ or http://www.sivtickets.com
 Share this content via...
