Who sells the freshest fruit & veg in sheffield?

Recommended Posts

Im looking for a decent fruit and veg shop/stall.

Where when they say the goods are fresh, that they really are.

I think the reply to that has to be: Define fresh. In the Netherlands we used to buy veg straight from a farming association which also had a large greenhouse partner, brilliantly fresh but not smooth and shiny like you might find in a supermarket.

Not that I would be able to provide an alternative to that here in Sheffield, but see it as a means to enquire for further understanding of what you are after so others can help you :)

Most of them will buy from the same wholesaler daily so probably doesn't make a difference...
