He seems to be attracting support right across the board.

He needs to attract votes from the general public, especially those who didn't vote Labour last time.

Yes, very cynical don't you think

But accurate. Doubtless the Conservatives hope that Corbyn will be a vote loser outside of traditional Labour areas. They may well be right.

I think an awful lot of people are ready for a fairer world. They are sick of being dictated to by the big corporations.

Very naive don't you think?

If wishes were fishes.....

Or to quote Henry James:

The world as it stands is no illusion...no evil dream of a night; we wake up again for ever and ever; we can neither forget it nor deny it nor dispense with it.

And if he led Labour to a general election victory based on these popular aims, how would he deliver the second and third bullet points on the list? If he proposed that the country buys them back at current market value, then where does the money come from? The money that the country made from selling them off has long gone. Or does the country just take them over without recompense to the current owners?

Don't assume that it is just the Tories that are licking their lips at the prospect of Labour shooting themselves not in the foot, but the head if Corbyn wins. The Lib Dems won't be able to believe their luck either.

The thing is that no-one can possibly predict the future. Look at the polls at the last election. All these people saying it'll be the end of Labour, or the opposite, it'll be the making the Labour have absolutely no idea. None of us do.

Vote with a combination of head and heart. Don't try to second guess the future or what other people will do as you will almost certainly make a complete hash of it.

I will be voting for Corbyn for myself as I agree with almost everything he says and stands for. If he doesn't get elected, or Labour sink as a result then that's life. I'm not going to vote for someone I don't agree with purely because someone else thinks it's a bad idea.

These things are too vague for Mr or Mrs anyone to possibly answer.

The green party leader AND Ed said at the last election campaign that the NHS should be 100% in public hands.

I wanted to ask them, why do cleaning staff, catering staff, delivery staff, etc. (basically anything not related to medical expertise) have to be public ran? What if a private company can compete and charge less and provide a better service?

Does the opinion poll include this information? No. It's a broad question that will obviously get a high percentage 'yes' vote. tbh, I'm surprised it's as low as 84%.

Did the opinion voters get a chance to say how they would pay for the renationisations?

Michael Foot may have been a hopeless candidate and a bit too left-wing for the voters tastes, but nobody questioned his intellectual rigour and also that he was of ministerial calibre. He had run government departments prior to being elected Labour party leader.

Corbyn has got nothing like that to show. He has no experience and if he does get elected leader, Cameron will run rings round him at the despatch box to such an extent that it will become obvious to everyone, even him and his closest supporters, that he's not up to it, Which means some people in the higher echelons of the Labour party and not just those who are also running for leader now, could well be hatching plans right now, to run in another leadership election in maybe 2017, or 2018.

but with it being so difficult to get rid of even a terrible and totally unelectable Labour leader like Corbyn will be these days, even that is not so straightforward. The party might end up being stuck with Corbyn because no-one is able to challenge him, so if Corbyn is elected leader he might end up being persuaded to resign like Ian Duncan Smith was as the only way to get rid of him.

all common sense policies. Even the more dubious ones like renationalising services - be great to just get it back into public hands even if not highly profitable.
