What do you do with your 'grass clippings' ?

I have used them to mulch my spuds before or don't collect them to feed the lawn

The nutrient content of grass changes during the year. The grass clippings don't have the right balance of nutrients to correctly feed your lawn. If they are left on regularly they can create a layer of partially degraded material which can hinder air flow cause problems with drainage etc.

Once the grass has degraded fully in a compost heap you can add it to the soil.
