How do you know it's a £50 haircut? What does a £50 haircut look like?

He could have got it free at the Archer project. He could have got it for a knockdown price because it was done by a student hairdresser. He could have had it done at a cheap corner Barbers that keeps up with the trends but doesn't charge silly prices. He could have had it done by a friend. He could have had it done last week but found himself sanctioned and broke this week. Who knows? Did you ask him?

Why do people always want to come up with a reason for not accepting that some people are genuinely broke?

Need to write something that makes sense first. Secondly what evidence do you have of this?

maybe the op is being massivly overcharged by his barber....

who, in their right mind, would pay £50 quid for a haircut?

i only pay £5 for mine and it's perfectly adequate.

Could you describe this hair cut? What made a £50 one?

Definitely worthy of it's own thread. You should have made the title: Sheffield citizen in "homeless people can't have nice things" shocker. Maybe the Star will buy your story.

I gave him half my sausage roll the other day. His hands were really, really filthy. He's been living outside, got no doubt about that.

My wife spends around £100 at the hairdressers so a £50 haircut is not excessive
