chillirobbo   10 #74 Posted May 27, 2015 (edited) Red sauce or bacon sandwiches with proper crozzle on fresh white bread cut into quarters at my nan and grandad's in the early 80s. Oh yeah, and dripping cakes with salt. Lovely memories Edited May 27, 2015 by chillirobbo
 Share this content via...

rhodesian11 Â Â 10 #76 Posted June 20, 2015 Looking back to when I was a nipper we didn't have the variety of ready made junk food that is available for kids today, so we had to invent our own and we weren't bad at it either... My favorites where bread and sugar, bread butter and brown sauce and the beautiful ever popular bread and dripping.......... What was the weirdest one's you can remember ? trastrick   866 #79 Posted June 21, 2015 (edited) Me mum's packinup.  White sliced bread, marge, a square of Kraft plastic cheese, and a couple slices of tomato. Salt and pepper.  Best eaten at lunch time in Steelo's cabin, after everything got soggy and warm and blended together. With a good mashin.  These days, however, it's Chipotle, Quesiladas, Roast Beef or New York Deli.  (With Grey Poupone, of course! and a fine semi dry Riesling) Edited June 21, 2015 by trastrick
 Share this content via...
