truman   10 #37 Posted April 29, 2015 I don't think that many people on the old system will get pension credit at all, and rumour has it that the threshold for pension credit is due to be slashed if the Conservatives get in again, so even less will get it. That will include any other benefits like council tax reduction.  Basically everyone seems to lose out. It's a bit like cutting benefits and calling it 'helping the unemployed.'  And as for simplifying - why don't they just make it £150 for everyone instead of this complex two tier system?
