Grappler   12 #16 Posted April 22, 2015 Why is everyone arguing on here? Surely you can play any format you want to?  If the lads want to advertise a Northern Soul - vinyl night, then so what? As long as people have a great night out, isn't that the only thing that matters?
 Share this content via...

spooferman   10 #18 Posted April 23, 2015 branding stuff like Northern soul , just inflates the value of old scratch vinyl thus unaffordable to most people .. hence we have CD and MP3
 Share this content via...
Grappler   12 #19 Posted April 23, 2015 branding stuff like Northern soul , just inflates the value of old scratch vinyl thus unaffordable to most people .. hence we have CD and MP3  ?????  It has been called Norther Soul for donkeys years mate, and the records were always expensive (the rare ones).  I have nothing against CD, got loads of compilations, got one in the car right now, 3 CD's 75 tracks, only cost a fiver, alot of tracks I never had originally.  On the other side, there are some of my old Northern singles that I have not found on any compilation yet.  Like I said, as long as people have a good night out and enjoy themselves, that is all that matters. I never stopped playing it? My kids grew up listening to it (along with Motown and a load of other stuff)
 Share this content via...
