They have loads look at the manor estate....can't understand why they say there's no land yet vast areas have been left empty for all these years!

The shortage of Council housing isn't because of a shortage of land. It's because local government finance rules prevent them building new housing.

The land doesn't belong to Kier, theuy will be selling it on behalf of the council, like various other sites and old buildings. It's what they do. Do you really want a load of civil servants with no idea what they are doing flogging stuff? Kier have qualified chartered surveyors and planners working on behalf of the council.

which end of blackstock road can't think were there's only a bit of land next to doctors and across the road were the old apple orchard was, can't think were at the water tower end and I am a brought up valley lad for over 50 years council can't leave well alone x leave the valley alone just get rid of the **** they put there was a great estate in the late 50s and 60s got rough in the late 90s when the dross came out them and brink it back to what it was the pride of Sheffield and Europe when thousands came to view it not the only people who view it is from a thousand feet in a police helicopter the helo should be changed for an apache gun ship and drones x

Quite frankly I wouldn't care who sold the councils assets as long as there was good reasons for doing so and a fair price was obtained along with a set of contractually agreed conditions.
