Cheaper bars in sheffield

Recommended Posts

hello guys.

So could you help me finding cheaper bars in sheffield.

I have enjoyed your recommendations of wick at both ends and bloo 88.

But because if student probs cant go there every week.

So a place a little less cheaper,

but not to cheap which draws the wrong crowd.

Like who does the cheapest cocktails.

Haha, we went in that place the other day and my other half went to the bar...

OH: Can I have a pint of lager and a disaronno and coke

Bar: No Disaronno pal

OH: Ok, what about vodka and coke?

Bar: No Coke either mate

OH: Ok...what about wine? Do you have any sweet rose?

Bar: We got white or red

OH: Ok..white please, sweet as you've got

Bar: Only got the one bottle pal, that'll do right?

So whilst the choice is limited...its definitely the cheapest pub in town and makes for an interesting evening :hihi:

Slightly nicer is the Old Monk next door, which doesn't do cocktails but is huge and also quite cheap.

West Street Live is also very cheap. Not sure about cocktails but they do lots of funky flavoured shots.

Revolution de Cuba is the complete opposite of cheap but they do a damn good cocktail.

LOL. Reminds me of Mr Foleys in Leeds before York brewery took it over.

Girl: 'Ain't you got any Wkd Blue?'

Barman: 'No'

Girl: 'What kind of <REMOVED> pub is this?'

Barman: 'One for grown-ups'.

I see you are studying English?

Try Weatherspoons. Or, try buying your booze at the supermarket and sneaking it in, in your handbag, and mixing your own on the premises.
