National express do daily trios to Leeds, London, Nottingham. Where are you thinking of going? Try Gordons coaches, Vee travel.

based on my limited experience, Geevee pretty good insofar as they go straight from Sheffield to wherever, giving you a decent amount of time (though we did get tutted at by all the old biddies for daring to turn up only 15 minutes before the homeward departure time, cos they were all ready half an hour before...). We used another operator I can't remember to get to Scarborough, it stopped at every lamp-post to Dewsbury to pick up then did Filey and some other gaff on way - net result 4½ hours each way, 3 hours in Scarborough!
