My monitor, an Asus one, and the second one, has developed a major fault: it is flickering all over the screen, something similar happened to my older one the same model. I bought it about six months ago from More From computers, they say on the website its the manufacturers you send it back to, but is still within one year guarantee, shouldn't they be responsible, I bought it from then because I thought it would be easy to return if it was faulty.

ah, read it wrong, the retailers say get in touch with manufacturer in first instance, but they do the returns.

Lots of manufacturers have the right to deal with returns and repairs themselves and it's often in the contract for retailers to stock their products that they do so..

So when companies say it's the responsibility of the manufacturer, this is why.

You have 14 days. After that you have the hassle returning to manufacturer.
