Clarkson suspended by the BBC

Recommended Posts

Not very often I say this (if at all) ... this thread's getting very

.

I only keep looking at it in case someone says something interesting. Not the case, sadly.

Bickering removed. Start it up again and suspensions will be issued.

Oisin should be given the chance to give Clarkson a punch in the face and then they should shake hands.

I have no interest in TG but I'm hoping they get him back on it as soon as possible.

My fear is that if he doesn't go back and be kept busy with it the git is going to start appearing all over the place on programs that I normally enjoy but won't want to watch with him involved. :(

If he's replaced and someone betters him in their own right then he will actually recede.

I would like to see it compared by someone who can go on the attack at petrol heads as tossers. Get Angus Deayton. :hihi:

They are taking the petition to the BBC tomorrow, so sign now to take it past the million signatures.

Much as I like Clarkson and his humour and the fact he stands up to the cognicenti and the politically correct sheeple, until I know whether he was violent or not I for one cannot sign until we know the facts.

Yes, I appreciate that it's the Guardian, a paper that I have never bought, but they have a point.

Stuart Lee, a comedian that I don't particularly like - too much sarcasm - but again he has a point.

And the amusing thing is that he makes the point in an excellent ironic send up of Top Gear.

I still find JC funny - I haven't watched the clip - I'm currently watching Trevor Phillips. Just thought I needed winding up a bit.

I doubt it will make much difference anyhow. I suspect JC will move to another channel. He will take Hammond and May with him as well as most of the 5.4 million viewers who watch each episode.

James May and Richard Hammond refuse to film Top Gear without Jeremy Clarkson

The two co-hosts rejected an offer to present the last three shows without the suspended star

So Hammond & May are withholding their labour in solidarity with Clarkson. Isn't that what unions do?

I think it is what mates do.

I suspect that should Clarkson jump ship and move to another channel the reason for their decision will become apparent.

Do you think Jeremy will suggest killing them?
