That's great news" debt free" and targetting Premier League by 2017 .

To hear the new owner saying Stuart Gray is doing a "great job " is reassuring. Owl.

Is it? In my experience, comments like that are usually followed quite quickly by the Managers' departure!

I really hope not - think SG has done a brilliant job with the resources at his disposal and think he deserves the opportunity to (hopefully) take us to the Premiership.

So that's Stuart finishing in June then.

As for Premier by 2017, well, as we know, talk is cheap. I will reserve judgement on this lot. Just have a sneaky feeling that all may be not what it seems. I may be wrong, I hope I am, but something just makes me feel odd about it all.

Great stuff, at least he's set a reasonable target re: PL, unlike Europe...

UTB

Interesting times ahead for both Sheffield clubs, now that finance is no longer an issue..

DC is saying all the right things at the moment....pitch replacement,Manager is safe, investment in players when required, premier league in 2 years etc....plus free tuna sarnies at every home game...:hihi:

I never like these hard-cast targets, although spending our 150th year in the PL will definitely be a wonderful experience and is a noble target.

I think we will see Stu around next year as well, but the target then will probably be the play-offs, can we do that? I think so. This squad doesn't need that much more investment to reach that.
