Can anyone recommend a seamstress that will take in a beaded dress

Can anyone help please? I've bought a beaded dress which needs a slight alteration - I've tried quite a few seamstresses but nobody does a heavily embellished frock _ I'm even tempted to try stitching by hand but I'm reluctant as I don't want to ruin it = Please?

you could try Vyn Johns at crosspool as they do alterations as well as bridal wear

 

they specialise in vintage alterations and melvyn is a demon at beading so he could be your man

Thank you both so very much and sorry for the late reply- I'd logged myself out and couldn't remember my password - doh!

 

I tackled it myself and even if I do say so - I think it look pretty good

 

though I have bought another fully beaded dress that needs altering! oh my lordy - will I ever learn?? anyways I am going to follow both up for my new dress
