goldenfleece   11 #1 Posted March 31, 2006 Sure there will be a few listed here sooner or late, but I have always used Dave Allen at Crosspool, DJ ALLEN MOTOR REPAIRS on Selbourne Rd, to the immediate left of the car showroom on the corner near the petrol station.  He has looked after my classics for 14 years now, and unlike some garages that cant really be bothered with old cars, this one is highly recommended, and indeed has a really extensive collection of classics who are his regular customers. MOT's, welding, bodywork, gearboxes, clutches, tuning/servicing, arranging professional resprays, sourcing difficult old Ford parts, fitting classic non standard radios ( that no one else will touch!) in fact, everything I have ever needed doing has been done there. Phylis   10 #2 Posted April 28, 2006 John Bee Motor Engineers on Abbeydale Road. Any kind of body work, paint work and some mechanical work. They do modern and classic and vintage stuff. Cars come here from as far away as London to be restored. They have a resident panel maker for those impossible to get panels. No job is too big or too small.
