Somewhere for a group booking - dinner

There's roughly 15 of us.

 

We went to Sushi Express and whilst the food was amazing - the service was shocking. They just couldn't handle a group. We don't even mind a fixed menu!

 

Any recommendations? It'll be Saturday night, about 7pm - any kind of food, we're a mixed bunch

You shouldn't have any problem at any of the larger restaurants around town - maybe one of those around Leopold Square? But if you're looking for somewhere different and more intimate then many of the smaller, nicer places around town might have trouble seating 15 of you together.

 

Our office nights out are generally for 10 people and we go to the Old House as they are very good. But would probably struggle to seat more than that. You might be better off down Ecclesall Rd. When we had a larger group we went to Mudcrab which was great. They set up a long table in an alcove out of the way and we had a great night. I'm sure on a Sunday you won't be spoiled for chouce out that area.

If you want to keep it local, independent and non chainlike, I am sure my brother would appreciate your patronage at Eten Cafe near Sheffield Cathedral. They do a bistro night on a Saturday as well as their usual menu. Further info on their website, just search Eten Sheffield. Call today and book in. Don't tell him I said so but the boy can cook.
