Redundancy & compensation for loss of notice

My partner got her full amount for redundancy, but the 2nd payment has been agreed today for the loss of notice, which has a minus £361 for her not claiming any benefits, however we arent entitled them due to my earninsg, is this right , surely not ????

That is impossible to say without knowing the detail. I think that is quite specific to yourselves. There are all sorts of tax implications with payments in lieu of notice (PILON) and it depends what is stated in the Contract of Employment.
