I'm having problems with Asda mobile and would like to change providers when my money runs out with them. I only have sim card and top up when I need to,

I don't want to be tied down to a contract and not bothered about internet either. I'm paying 8p per minute to talk and 4p to text, Is there any company that can match this. Thank you for any information. alan p.

My mate is on 3 network pay-as- you-go and I think that is cheaper than your present one but I think you have got to have a phone with 3g or something like that.

I left GiffGaff for Three and have never had one problem on their 3-2-1 PAYG tariff

Topping up also gets you free 150MB of Internet which lasts for 30 days

Rates are 3p a minute, 2p a text and 1p a MB of data (voicemail is also 3p a minute too)

Like others have said you need a 3g enabled phone.

Thankyou all for your replies, I will check them all out. If anyone thinking of going to Asda mobile I cannot fault the signal but if you have a problem then don't expect to get it resolved. I have a Galaxy Ace phone, and yes I know its old but for what I need does the job. The problem I was having is in settings it was showing a different phone number than the one I have, I tried different sim cards and the phone would recognise that sim phone number. I realised that the sim card I got from Asda when I carried over my old number was to blame. The last 2 weeks I have spoken to 3 different people 4 with the one today who would not listen to me and kept telling me it was the phone and not the sim that was at fault. In the end I had to put the phone down. Sorry for rambling just needed to calm down. Anyway Thanks again its very much appreciated.

yep, happy Three customer here - though you need a 3g phone (so my wife cant move yet as her Nokia brick still works) 3 payg is so cheap I dont worry about usage any more, not that I use the phone a lot

Update on my problem with Asda mobile, called into Asda at Handsworth and the young man on the phone desk sorted out my sim card he rang Asda mobile who re configured my card over the phone in less than 10 minutes and verified it was the sim at fault not my phone. So if you have a problem with your Asda phones go into the Store and let them have the hassle. alan p.

Hello 1295galaxy, Thanks for getting back to me but I want a sim card that I top up when the money is getting low and not be tied to paying every month. I don't use my phone much and mainly send text messages anyway. alan p.
