It's a way of trying to get you to take your kids to church to be brainwashed under the pretence that they're playing.

Sorry, I should have asked if anyone had first-hand experience or knew someone who had first-hand experience of the church. I am concerned that impressionable youngsters may be indoctrinated.

no its all fun for families , they have a lot of games , often eat together which is something families don't do together , It encourages family to do stuff together which isnt sat on the settee playing on xbox or playstation , it also is good to show people what church is ! which isn't about the building its about people coming together as family. Its a good thing really , we have messy church in a township called Mpilo in Zimbabwe

why do you think that ? churches in the past have been often classed as boring due to the forms of worship !! Its a way of showing church today

I've a feeling that teaching critical thinking will not be top of the list of activities.

its not about criticism or judgement its about fun , out in Zimbabwe we have no building on mpilo but we have over 100 families who come, it helps us to identify and assist the poorest of the poor while having fun

I wonder if speaking in tongues is?

as far as i am aware the gifts of the holy spirit aren't the priority

Not that you're not biased of course.

where does it say that i am biased? If i were biased surely i would be claiming that its the best thing since sliced bread. I didnt, i pointed out that some would have an agenda, as it happens I dont because I know nothing about it and as such I advices that the OP visit and make their own mind up.

I can predict the response of some posters but I wont

That doesn't make any sense at all really.

Each to their own though.

I know families here in the UK that they don't talk to each other children play games all the time , nothing strange about a church wanting to encourage good family relationships

Is it not the case that young impressionable children are "preached to" before they are mature enough to frame searching questions?
