I have been told that leaflets about this church have been handed out at a local primary school. Does anyone know what Messy Church is?

Sorry, I should have asked if anyone had first-hand experience or knew someone who had first-hand experience of the church. I am concerned that impressionable youngsters may be indoctrinated.

Of course they will be. And it's not the worse I've seen either.

It's a creative way of getting families involved in church. i.e activities that help mum/dad get involved in church along with their children. It is not a separate movement or a new form of Christianity. It is most likely members from your local existing church trying to become more involved with the community.

Do you mean your own youngsters?

If you are concerned then pop along and see yourself. Surely your own personal experience is going to far outweigh those of another, who may well be biased?

It's a playgroup thing for kids. It's also very religious at times. If you don't want your kid subjected to Jesus stories, stay away.

Not that you're not biased of course.
