whiteroses   10 #14 Posted February 18, 2015 The Batemoor explosion was at around 10.40am today, not the early hours.  And yes, it was definitely fireworks in Meersbrook Park, but they must've been huge fireworks. It almost felt like my house was going to explode, the bangs were so loud.  There were three very loud bangs, then a bit of a gap and then a series of smaller ones. I'm bottom of S14 and it sounded quite loud. Chuff knows but I couldn't get back to sleep either x  I'm amazed there are still folk daft enough to believe that old wive's tale.  Why any drug dealer send when messages by fireworks in the early hours when he could use a mobile phone?
