From 2009 to 2010. interesting that there is no mention of the years after then. The number quoted was 9.6 million from Government to the EA with no stipulation how the monies were to be spent. The EA have not mentioned yet how much was indeed allocated to angling. With Government cuts reaching an all time low and regarding that we anglers have contributed over 26 million pounds last year to EA through licence fees. To cap it off there is expected to be a 10% increase to next years licence fee. And there's a concern that the angling could be banned, yea right.
